Cendol is a common and familiar desert for Indonesian. Cendol can be served in cool or warm. I remember my childhood and my school hood when I get a bowl of cendol. It is nice memory when we take a bowl of cendol together with my classmate in a small village in Sumatera. For whose ever visit Indonesia, cendol must be a familiar desert. Do you know that cendol is not difficult to make? It is actually easy to make and great to consume.
Ingredients 1:
75 gr of hunkue flour
5 oz of rice flour
3 cups of water (you can blend with pandan leaves to get nice flavour and colour)
½ tsp of pandan paste (optional, can be changed by other paste, like mocca or banana)
1 tsp of salt
Ingredients 2:
1 liter of thick coconut milk
½ tsp of salt
a piece of pandan leaf, cut into small pieces
Ingredients 3 :
250 g brown sugar
75 g of granulated sugar
150 ml of water
How to make cendol easily by your self ?
Mix all of above ingredients 1 until well combined
Cook over low heat until thick.
Prepare a large bowl with some cold water and ice cube
Place a ladle over the bowl and pour the cooked cendol mixture over the ladle, press lightly with a big spoon until the mixture went through
Make sure the water is really cold so these little green droplets don't stick to each other
Boil all of the ingredients 2 over medium heat until bubble up
Boil all of the ingredients 3 in other pan over medium heat until bubble up
Mix all of the mixture in a bowl or glass
You can also add ice cube and sliced fruit for serving
How to make Apple Juice ? Peel and slice your apple, then boil until soft. Strain it and add your sugar then stir until dissolved. Dilute your juice with water and serve together with ice cubess in a glass. Before serving, add the orange juice or other kind of juice to each glass.

Doughnut Ingredients:
1000 gram of sweet potatoes
160 gram of plain flour
Frying oil for deep frying
Coating Ingredients:
125 gram of sugar
110 ml of water
How to make Sweet Potatoes Donut?
Step First, steam the peeled sweet potatoes until soft
Step Two, Mashed it while it still warm then add in the flour for making firm dough
Step Three, Divide it into any portions as you like then shape it into ring
Step Four, Heat your frying oil on a deep frying pan
Step Five, Deep fry the ring shaped dough until well fried (golden brown color), drain it
Step Six, while your potatoes on steam, boil your sugar on a medium heat until dissolve and thick
Step Eight, Add the fried doughnut into the boiled sugar on a low heat, stir well until your doughnut coated by the sugar and crystallized.
Even this is not Indonesian Food, I think this kind of food is so interesting to try, but if you stay or live in Indonesia, you'll find a trouble in finding the salmon fish, because this kind of fish is not originally come from Indonesia, but imported.

2 cups of salmon, flaked and cooked
2 eggs, hard-boiled and crushed
Salt and pepper
1 red bell pepper, diced
½ cup of onions, chopped
4 tbsp of mayonnaise
¼ tsp of cayenne pepper (you can change this with other)
½ lemon, juiced
1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, and diced
How to made Salmon Salad easily?
In a bowl, gently toss together the salmon and crushed hard-boiled eggs
In other bowl, combine bell pepper, mayonnaise, onion, and cucumber
Add seasonings and stir for combining
Pour mixture over salmon, lemon juice, and toss lightly for combining
