Leek and Cheese Chicken Breasts Recipe

Ingredients :

  • 4 tsp (20 mL) extra-virgin oliveoil
  • 2/3 cup (150 mL) thinly sliced leeks (white and light green parts only)
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) dry white wine
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) each chopped fresh parsley and drained oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts (with skin)
  • Pinch each salt and pepper

Preparation :

In large ovenproof skillet, heat half of the oil over medium heat; cook leeks and thyme, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in wine and bring to boil; cook, stirring, until no liquid remains, about 2 minutes. Transfer to bowl. Mix in cheese, parsley and tomatoes. Set aside.

Cut chicken in half almost but not all the way through; open like book. Divide filling over 1 side of each breast. Fold over; secure edge with toothpicks. Brush with remaining oil; sprinkle with salt and pepper. In same skillet, brown chicken over medium-high heat. Bake in 425°F (220°C) oven until no longer pink inside, about 15 minutes.

Japanese Miso Udon Recipe (Noodle Soup) with Prawn

Ingredients :

  • A few prawns
  • Some spring onion
  • 1 packet of dried seaweed (ready to eat)
  • 30gm enoki mushroom
  • 30gm oysterm mushroom
  • 1 sachet or tablespoon miso paste
  • 1 packet udon noodles (the fresh vacuum sealed ones are better than the dried variety)
  • 1 fresh or boiled egg
  • 2 teaspoons of Soy Sauce
  • Tablespoon of Dashi Sauce

The Noodles :

This is really easy. Bring a pot of water to boil and throw in the udon until they are tender but not too soft. It’s usually about 4-9mins depending on the one used. Remove and rinse under cold water briefly and set aside.

Ingredients :

  • 1.5 litres (6 cups) dashi
  • 2 tablespoons Japanese soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 2 chicken breast fillets (400g)

  • 300g dried udon noodles
  • 230g can sliced bamboo shoots, rinsed, drained

Method :
  1. Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced.
  2. Bring dashi, sauce, mirin and sugar to the boil in large saucepan; add chicken and mushrooms, return to the boil. Strawberry Cake Recipe

Ingredients :
  • 1 box of white cake mix
  • Some fresh strawberry
  • 4 tbsp of strawberry jam
  • 3 tbsp of warm water
For vannila pudding :
  • 400 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp of custard powder

How to Make Strawberry Cake?
  1. Make cake according to the direction on the cake box. Bake until golden brown and let it to cool.

Pepes Daging Kambing (Roasted Goat Meat Wrapped by Banana Leaf)


In any region of Indonesia, pepes are usually using fish for the ingredient, but at this time, we try for serving pepes with other ingredient. It will be a great lauk to be eat with nasi (rice).

Ingredients :
  1. 250 gr of goat meat, cubed
  2. 4 pcs of lemons
  3. 1 tsp of salt
  4. 100 gr of brown sugar, sliced
  5. 250 gr of water
  6. banana leaf
  7. 3 tbsp of frying oil
Soft Spices (Well Blended) :
  1. 100 gr of Red Chillis
  2. 10 pcs of Small Chillis (optional)
  3. 4 tusk of garlics
  4. 2 cm of temu kunci
  5. 1 tsp of terasi/belacan, roasted first
Methode/How to Make Pepes Daging Kambing ?
  • Smear the meat with two squeezed lemon water, let it about 30 minutes
  • Heat the oil on a medium heat, fry the soft spices until nice smell
  • Add the meat and stir for about 5 minutes
  • Add salt and brown sugar, stir well for about 1 minute
  • Add the water, stir until well mixed and the water run out
  • Take away and let it cool
  • Add two squeezed lemon water, well mixed
  • Take the banan leaf and add to the each portion with two tbsp of meat, wrapp it
  • Roast the pepes until well roasted ( back and forth every side of pepes) for about 30 minutes
  • Ready to serve warmly....

Modern Chicken Varuval

Ingredient :

  1. 1 chicken, deboned and cut into small chunks
  2. 4 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  3. 2 tbsp curry powder
  4. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  5. 10 dried chillies (cut into pieces)
  6. 10 shallots (shredded)
  7. 2 pc cinnamon stick
  8. 4 pc cardamoms

  • 4 cups (1 lb.) powdered sugar, sifted
